(24" x 22 1/4, Oil on
Mahogany, 2005)

Snatch is a comment on violence
as entertainment. Wether fictional or in the form
of broadcasted news, today's society entertains itself
with other people's misfortune. The painting portrays
a vicious predatory attack, an armed robbery on a
middle age man. Painted from December 2004 to July
2005, the painting is executed in oil on gesso-prepared
mahogany. The painting is featured in the Fall issue
of DIRECT ART 2006.
