Stillness in New York City is a depiction of the multi-cultural life of New York City. Painted from January to September 2004, the painting was the first executed in the Urban Zoo collection. In this painting a combination of different artistic styles - such as Symbolism, Pop Art and Ethnical Art-are built on and around the classical concept of the still life. The method of techniques of Baroque & Renaissance are applied to modern day subject matter.
